This elevation provides the necessary cool temperatures and consistent rainfall crucial for the growth and development of coffee plants. The province experiences a tropical monsoon climate characterized by distinct wet and dry seasons. The ample rainfall during the wet season, typically from May to October, ensures sufficient moisture for the coffee plants. Meanwhile, the dry season, which spans from November to April, offers the ideal conditions for coffee cherries to ripen, harvested and drying in sun.
